A New Yorker called ‘Boris’ claims to have produced the world’s first automated head-shaving helmet – a hat you can whack on your bonce and does the whole job for you. Real or fake? Take a look at the video below and judge for yourself.
Video posted on URLesque.com shows the inventor, introduced simply as Boris, is testing his contraption on a brave volunteer.
Head Shaving Helmet is touted to shave you completely bald in just 24 seconds. This is made possible thanks to a couple of servos powering four razors, automatic shaving cream injection, and LED progress indicators.
The headgear has four blades powered by two motors mounted on Teflon-coated aluminium rails, complete with a shaving cream injection system.
So, real or fake? Who knows… All we know is that the shaving helmet isn’t linked anywhere, doesn’t have a product website and doesn’t seem to have the backing of any actual company. But the video, recently surfaced on YouTube, became an instant hit.
