37-year old Minnesota man has been charged with creation and possession an explosive sex toy which he planned to give to one of three ex-girlfriends.
Terry Allen Lester, Waseca, who made the explosive device hidden in a sex toy, now faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a $20,000 fine if convicted.
On January 1, police officer Kari Kalow responded to a call about a civil matter and went to a residence in Waseca.
The woman who made the call said that Lester had been residing with her and another woman at her apartment, but he was forced to leave hastily when the manager learned about him staying. Lester left the apartment but he left behind few bags.
The contents of these bags made the both women uncomfortable so they decided to contact the police, who later found one of the bags with the words ‘Christmas Gifts,’ in which were some sex toys.
Investigators said the man stuffed gunpowder, BBs and buckshot into the sex toy.
This week, Lester was charged in Waseca County District Court. He was charged with possessing and making an explosive device, and also for using such a device to make terroristic threats… both are felonies.
