A smalltime Irish director George Clarke claims he has found proof of a time traveler in Charlie Chaplin’s film “The Circus” from 1928. He uploaded the clip to YouTube on Oct. 19, and it has since been viewed about two million times.
YouTube video shows a woman talking into something she’s holding up to her ear. It looks like a mobile phone, although they weren’t invented until the 1970s.
The main question is: did a time traveler go back to 1928 and walk into a Charlie Chaplin movie while talking on a cellphone?
George Clarke claimed the person is a time traveler and that “you just can’t explain it.” In the video, Clarke slows down the shot of the woman, whom he speculates could have been a man in drag. He says he’s screened the footage for 100 people, and nobody could come up with some better explanation.
New York Daily News suggests it could be a hearing aid because they were invented in 1920 and were widely manufactured by 1928. But why is she talking into a hearing aid? There are many theories that she could be testing the aid, or maybe she just is crazy and talking to herself or she could be talking to someone near her… who knows.
We suggest you to watch this video and figure it out yourself.
